Internal Import Clerk -TNT

 Role: Permanent 

 

Job Description

  • To provide an efficient and effective Customs Clearance Service ensuring administration procedures are carried out in line with Revenue and TNT standards;
  • To ensure that all data sent to Revenue is fully accurate;
  • To maintain accurate and comprehensive records;
  • To ensure the Import System is updated with importers details and specific requests;
  • To liaise with both internal and external customers and ensure all clearance queries and requests are resolved/followed through in a timely and effective manner.

 

Person Specification

  • The suitable candidate will have….
  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Import Clerk role;
  • Strong classification of goods knowledge;
  • Relevant experience in a similar industry desirable;
  • Ability to work under pressure and on their own initiative;
  • Ability to prioritise clearances;
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication (both verbal and written) and administrative skills;
  • Excellent PC literacy and keyboard skills required;

 

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week Monday-Friday; you will also be required, on occasion, to work on Saturday as shift cover
  • The hours operate on a rotating shift basis with start/finish times falling within 4:00am/05:00am to 12:00/1:00pm.
  • These hours may be subject to change due to operational demands and you will be required to work beyond the standard hours when necessary. Flexibility in this regard will be a requirement of the role.

 

Location 

The position will be based at TNT premises at Belgard, Tallaght, Dublin 24.

Service Quality Clerk - TNT

Role: Full-time, permanent
 

Job Description

  • Ensure timely and accurate communication of information which affects service quality in line with Group standards
  • Verify PODs and ensure system is updated within the timeframe to avoid service failure
  • Process and validate various reports to confirm delivery and update on system
    Process Ship Stats emails from other Depots and update on system
  • Handle phone / email communications on time and in accordance with Company policy
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing and retrieval of all documents / information

 
Person Specification

  • Relevant experience in a similar industry desirable
  • Strong communication and administrative skills required
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Ability to work to deadlines
     

Working Hours

  • 37.5 hours per week; 6:00am - 2:00pm, Monday-Friday. 
  • These hours may be subject to change due to operational demands.
  • Also you will be required to work beyond the standard hours when needed. Flexibility in this regard will be a requirement of the role. 

 

Location

The position will be based at TNT premises at Belgard, Dublin 24.
