Why is it important?

Sustainability will be the single biggest influence on business, particularly transport and supply chain for the foreseeable future. An understanding of the trends today will position a company to survive for the next 30 years while others fall foul of changing demands and market economics that will be influenced by changing government policies globally as well as significant changes in consumer expectations around the activity of companies.
