Join the CILT Customs Declarations Masterclass on 27th September from 9.30am - 4.30pm. 

 

This course will be extremely practical in nature and focus on the process of filling out customs declarations forms. It will also include latest updates from EU customs authorities including new AES Export system and new ICS2 import system.

It will discuss the strategic direction of the customs clearance process and the simplifications an procedures available to streamline and reduce complexity in this process.


The masterclass will run through:


• Regulatory framework for customs declarations - why they are needed and legal/regulatory responsibilities of importers/exporters
• Completing export/import declarations in AIS & AES (practical online declarations system tutorial)
• Completing ENS (safety and security declarations) declarations (practical online declarations system tutorial)
• Auditing completed customs declarations
• Tariff classification rules and understanding TARIC system for
• EU customs IT systems related to custom clearance process
• Key customs compliance obligations on customs declarations/procedures for post clearance checks

 

This masterclass is delivered online via Zoom webinar by Brian Murphy of Global Trade.
