Young Professionals Group

This group is designed to assist young members of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, helping them build relationships, network and interact with the main work of the Institute. 

How Do You Join?

CILT members under 35 years of age are automatically members of the Young Professionals Group. 

About the Group

The Young Professionals Group has two main functions: 

  • To build relationships amongst younger CILT members including young professionals beginning their careers and students of logistics, transport and supply chain management.
  • To introduces new, young talent into the Institute’s main body.

Benefits of CILT Young Professionals:

  • Exposure to a knowledge pool and professional network outside your normal peer group.
  • Opportunities for professional development which otherwise would not be possible i.e. technical visits and networking events.
  • Access to other non-academic forms of industry training like Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes or CILT Skillnet courses which can complement your mainstream studies.
  • Fosters involvement with the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport from an early age.
