Navigating the Future: Innovations and Challenges in the Unmanned Aircraft Industry

CILT Ireland's Policy Research Committee presents the policy research framework they have developed for Unmanned Aircraft Systems (drones).

A panel discussion regarding safety of UAS and best practice will follow the presentation where they will be joined by representatives from the Centre of Robotic Intelligence Systems Limerick (CRIS), AirNav Ireland - Ireland's air traffic management organisation and Shannon Airport.

Presenters:

Dr Eoin Plant O'Toole

Dr Eoin Plant-O’Toole is an Associate Professor in Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Edinburgh Napier University Business School. Eoin also sits on the Governing Council of the Chartered Institute for Logistics and Transport (CILT) Ireland and currently chairs CILT Ireland’s Policy Committee. Specialities: Supply chain management, freight logistics, sustainable transport, structural equation modelling, behavioural decision theory, pedagogical strategies.

Chiagoziem Ozoani

Chiagoziem Ozoani is a member of the CILT Ireland Policy Research Committee.  He is also Operations Specialist at Sysco ireland.
