The course is delivered via a multimedia CD-ROM. Course modules are taught through interactive instruction.
As this is a flexible learning programme students can study at their own pace.
Students who complete the course receive one year’s free affiliate membership of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport Ireland.
On completion of the Certificate in Logistics students will be able to:
Students are required to sit 3 hour written examination.
A pass mark of 50% is required in each assignment and in the exam in order to achieve the Certificate in Logistics.
A student’s overall mark is calculated by adding their results in each of the assignments and the exam together. This final mark is out of 100.
The Certificate in Logistics is awarded by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Ireland, the key professional body for the logistics and transport disciplines.
You can study at your own pace however it is recommended that you complete the certificate in 1 year.
Upon registration for the Certificate in Logistics the CD-ROM and manual will be posted out to you.
Assignments are submitted via email to the course coordinator.
An information pack will be sent out to you on registration.
Students can sit the exam online or in the Institute's headquarters in Dublin.
Exams are arranged by the course coordinator who will work to accommodate students.
