Now more than ever companies are aware of the profit impact of procurement, in the public sector compliance and the ability to demonstrate value for money is paramount, in the private sector – facing increasing costs, the ability to identify sourcing categories and create strategies for effective long term business benefit sets a professional procurement department and its business apart from the competition. In the face of rising cost a Euro saved is often a bigger contribution to the bottom line than ten Euro in increased sales.
