On October 1st, The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT) Ireland officially transitioned from Trust status to a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) — a significant milestone in the Institute’s evolution.
To mark the occasion, the CILT Council convened one final time at our offices on Fitzwilliam Place before the inaugural meeting of the new Board of Directors. During this meeting, Immediate Past President Brendan Keating formally handed over the chain of office to President Tim Hayes.
This transition represents not only a change in structure but a reaffirmation of CILT’s commitment to good governance, professional development, and the advancement of Ireland’s logistics, transport, and supply chain sectors.
