On Saturday 5th April at Rosslare Europort, as part of Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Week 2025 CILT and CILT Mobility & Supply Chain Skillnet will host a Knowledge Day.
This event marks the final event in Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Week as supported by the Department of Transport.
Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Week aims to encourage students, new entrants, and career changers to consider education and careers in logistics and supply chain, and to inspire an industry-wide discussion on the challenges and opportunities of building resilient, future-proof, and sustainable supply chains. Logistics Week will consist of a mix of in-person and online events at locations around the country.
Knowledge Day Agenda
Rory O’Connor, CEO of Scurri, a delivery management platform that powers ordering, shipping & delivery for online sellers will deliver the keynote address. Carl Coates, Business relationship Manager at Rosslare Europort will present on the digitalisation journey of the Port with Kate Devereaux and Doireann O'Brien, of Kersia will also present. Kersia is a global leader in biosecurity and food safety with value added products and solutions to prevent diseases or contamination in both animal and humans at every stage of the food supply chain.
A panel discussion on the topic of Future Skills Needs and Training Opportunities will also take place with a student prize giving ceremony closing out the day. There will be the opportunity to meet with potential employers on the day as an exhibition space will be part of the event that students and visit to learn more about the company.

Student Competition
During Logistics Week, CILT Mobility & Supply Chain Skillnet, IPICS and Inchainge have partnered to offer a supply chain simulation game competition to third level students.
Students can enter for the opportunity to win a cash prize alongside a trophy for the winning team. For more details on the competition, see brochure attached that you can share with your students.
Entry is just 10 euro per teams of 4 or 5 people maximum. The competition will be held online over two evenings the 2nd and 3rd April during Logistics Week with the winners announced and awarded at the Knowledge Day taking place on Saturday 5th April at Rosslare Europort.
