CILT presents the James Crowley Medal

On Wednesday 4th May CILT attended the Smurfit Prize Ceremony at UCD Smurfit Business School. A beautiful sunny evening was in store for the academic achievement celebrations in the Lawrence Crowley board room. The award ceremony was hosted by Professor Geraldine Doyle, it celebrated the outstanding achievements of several students from the outgoing Smurfit class.

CILT were in attendance to congratulate and present the esteemed James (Jim) Crowley medal to the deserved winner, Vivek Roy Paidimukkala.

This prize is in commemoration of the late Professor James Crowley. This award and bursary are in honour of Professor Crowley and his contribution to advancing logistics and transport in Ireland. The medal is awarded annually to the student obtaining the highest GPA in the MSc Supply Chain Management Programme.

Vivek achieved the highest possible grade in the MSc Supply Chain Management with CILT President Tim Daly presenting him with this historic and prestigious award on the night.

We wish Vivek the very best of luck in his future career.
