The procurement process is how Buyers choose suppliers and services in a fair, transparent and accountable manner. One that protects the buyer as well as the supplier.

The purchase of goods and services is a necessary part of our daily operations and it’s important that those charge with purchasing decisions are given the support necessary to make the best decisions for their Buyers.

This workshop designed to give buyers practical and straightforward assistance so that goods/services are procured:

  • In line legislation and Buyers internal rules
  • Consistently, efficiently and effectively across all competitions; and
  • So that the best value for public money is achieved

These guidelines have been compiled considering the very latest updates to procurement legislation. They consider the challenges that buyers have faced in trying to balance supplier diversity, value for money, compliance with rules, contract management, innovation, sustainability and social inclusion.

The day will cover a deep dive into the five topics below, with opportunity for Q & A:

  1. Spend Analysis, the first step to spend management
