On Tuesday 23rd April, a CILT contingent consisting of President Brendan Keating, Vice President Tim Hayes and Marketing and Events Manager Katie Wheeler attended the UCD Smurfit Prize Ceremony with the honour of bestowing the James Crowley Memorial Medal.
The James Crowley Memorial Medal is awarded to the student who achieves the highest GPA in the Masters in Supply Chain Management. The medal is in honour of the late Professor Crowley who contributed much to the advancement of transport and logistics. CILT sponsor a bursary and present the medal on behalf of the Institute.
The very deserving winner was Mr.Lukas Riedel. Lukas is currently working within a supply chain recruitment capacity and was also awarded with a further accolade on the night along, 'Best Group Project.'
